Day 11

Day 11: Today was a gross, gloomy day with some rain up until the sun started to set. Then all of a sudden a BEAUTIFUL sunset formed! I couldn't miss taking pictures of it and I only wish I would have been on the beach. This was taken from my balcony of my apartment. Enjoy!

Days 8, 9 & 10

Day 8: This is a picture I took of my friend Amanda and her dog, Cooper! Cooper is a yellow lab who is about a year and a half old. They rescued him from a high kill shelter in Miami, FL!

Day 9: Another photo of my husband, Jason! He's been my model since I got my camera, but there is something I love about this picture! He deserves a lot of spotlight because the support he gives me is just incredible.

Day 10: I took this picture when I was out with Amanda and Cooper. I took it to try and capture the love and bond between a dog and it's owner. Dogs put all their trust into you, they look up to you and they serve as your companions. They love you unconditionally, regardless of what you look like, what you own, how much money you have, etc. These amazing animals deserve more credit then they get.

Days 5, 6 & 7

We had a great weekend packed full of picture taking! Here are a few of the shots I was able to capture!

Day 5: This is Molly! She belongs to our friends Andrea and Joe and she is just the sweetest thing! She's about 2 years old and she's an Australian Shepherd mix. She loves the water, swimming and chasing after those lovely tennis balls!

Day 6: Here's an adorable picture of a Golden Retriever puppy we saw on the beach! He was so sweet and loved swimming. I couldn't take enough pictures of him! He wouldn't leave that floppy frisbee alone!

Day 7: While we were fishing over the weekend we saw a Coast Guard boat pulling into port! I absolutely love watching these men work because their service is so valuable to our boarders! To all military men and women reading this: Thank you ALL for your service!

Days 2, 3 & 4

I'm behind, so I'm posting three pictures today!

Day 2: My husband and our Doberman, Bentley! My husband is serving in the US Coast Guard and he is definitely my rock. He supports me in everything I do and want to do and I'm not sure where I would be without him!

Bentley is about a year a half and on the smaller side for a doberman. We've had him since he was 4 months old! He's such a great boy.

Day 3: While we were fishing, this adorable manatee came to say hello! They are some of the cutest animals I've ever seen. It's so sad to see all of the scars they have on their bodies from boats!

Day 4: This was probably the coolest pelican I've met. He let me get about 3 feet away from him and I swear he modeled for me! His friend took off pretty early, but he stuck around. He probably hoped I'd feed him.

366 Photo-A-Day Challenge

I've decided to do the 366 photo challenge! I'm a little behind right now, but will most definitely be caught up after this weekend! I just got my new camera in the mail yesterday, so I still have a lot of figuring out to do! I'm excited to see how I'm going to progress over the next year and I hope you are, too!

Day 1: The photo to the left is of my dog, Max. He is a mix we rescued and he is one of the most photogenic dogs I've met. I'm sure you'll be seeing lots of pictures of him!
